Working with stakeholders

The Cabinet Office Public Service Workforce Reform team works closely with key stakeholders across public services to ensure progress on key workforce issues required for excellent public services, in turn supporting the Government’s approach to public service workforce reform. 
There are two well-established fora through which we work:

• The Public Services Forum, which brings together national trade unions, Government departments, public service employers and representative organisations of the private and the third sector. 
• The Employers Forum, which enables senior representatives of public service organisations to exchange ideas and experiences on pay and workforce reform in public services.

These fora are responsible for commissioning, co-ordinating and disseminating work, and for taking joint action where relevant.
