European and Global Issues Secretariat

Our role is to coordinate the collective agreement of the Government's International Economic (including G20/G8, international trade and development issues) and European policy and to provide advice on these matters to the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and the Cabinet Office Minister for Government Policy.

Economic and Domestic Affairs Secretariat

Economic and Domestic Affairs Secretariat (EDS) provides policy advice and briefing to the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister for Government Policy and Cabinet on the government’s economic and domestic policies, working with Committee Chairs to develop, support and secure collective agreement.
