The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service
The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service is an annual award created to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee in 2002 which rewards outstanding achievements by voluntary groups in the community.
Over 600 voluntary groups from across the UK have so far won the Award, including 79 groups in 2008. Previous winners include Hospice at Home volunteers and the Folkestone Migrant Support Group.
