Issue 9

These include the publication of guidance for volunteers on Criminal Records Bureau checks, the appointment of members to a new Third Sector Advisory Body and the news that two thirds of top tier local authorities have prioritised the third sector under the new local government performance framework.

These include a plan for a standard measure of social return on investment, the appointment of Jill Pitkeathley as Chair of the new Third Sector Advisory Body and the implementation of further changes from the Charities Act 2006.
