There are two weeks left to nominate for the Compact Awards 2008. These annual awards demonstrate the Compact in action, and recognise and celebrate excellent partnership working. With the exception of the award for Compact Champion of the Year, nominations must be for joint partnership work.
Compact Awards (previously called Compact Commendations for Excellence) have been awarded since 2003 and are there to reward and recognise the excellent use and implementation of the Compact at a national, regional and local level.
The closing date for nominations is Friday 28 August 2008. Short-listing and judging will take place during September 2008 and the awards will be announced and presented at an awards ceremony during Compact Week (1 to 8 November 2008).
