Commission for the Compact advertises for Chief Executive

The Commission for the Compact has advertised to recruit a Chief Executive. The commission for the Compact is an independent body that bridges the gap between Government and the third sector and is instrumental in strengthening partnership working between these sectors.

The Chief Executive’s role will be to enhance the role of the Compact and its implementation and to provide vision and leadership to help promote the Commission as an influential body. The Chief Executive will also manage day-to-day operations and motivate staff to ensure agreed actions are delivered at both a national and a local level. The successful applicant will also advise the Commissioner and the Board on the development of an evidence-based strategy and work programme.

The Chief Executive will need to be an inspiring individual with a track record of leadership gained at board level in either the public, private or third sector. The successful applicant will also be required to have strong representational skills along with the ability to develop and nurture key strategic relationships at all levels.
