Expressions of interest sought: National Survey of Third Sector

The Office of the Third Sector is seeking to commission a national survey
on the environment for a thriving third sector. It will measure performance
at the 150 upper tier local authority district level in England.
The OTS is looking for organisations with a strong capability and track
record in one or both of the following:

The design, management, reporting and analysis of large scale surveys.

The development of sample frames, and an understanding of issues
surrounding the sampling of organisations across the third sector.
The contract notice, including a description of the requirements and
timescales, is posted on the tender section of the
Official Journal of the European Union [external
website]. Initial expressions of interest are required by
noon 11 April 2008, and a pre-qualification questionnaire
by noon 18 April 2008.

Sector to provide Local Strategic Partnerships (local public, private
and third sector representatives) with more information and guidance.
The findings from a development study already undertaken, including the
pilot questionnaire, will be made available shortly.
