Prowess, one
of the Office of the Third Sector's strategic partners, has called for
nominations for their 2008 awards, which celebrate the individuals and
organisations that support the growth of female entrepreneurship.
Prowess is a network of organisations and individuals who support the
growth of women's business ownership. Their work encompasses raising
awareness, sharing of best practice, advocacy and information.
Nominations are now open for their 10 awards categories, designed to
celebrate the women who are changing the shape of enterprise. The OTS is
sponsoring the the Female Social Entrepreneur of the Year award for an
outstanding female social entrepreneur.
The awards are now in their fourth year and last year had over 300 high
caliber nominations. Full details about the nomination process are

The closing date for nominations is 11 April 2008.
Winners will be announced at the 2008 Prowess Awards ceremony in Birmingham
on 6 June 2008. All finalists will be invited to attend.
