Following a commitment in the third sector review, the Office of the Third Sector appointed a consortium led by Involve and comprising GuideStar and Headshift to undertake a research project looking at effective and innovative consultation with the third sector.
The project resulted in the publications of report and handbook for consultaing with the third sector. 'Better together: improving consultation with the third sector' is a useful resource for wider government as they seek to consult with third sector organisations, and also inform future OTS consultation exercises as it seeks to act as an exemplar of best practice.
