The Strategy Unit is looking to recruit an outstanding individual to provide financial and office management support, on loan from another government department or on secondment or on a fixed term contract (contracts are up to 2 years and in some cases posts can be extended or converted to permanency).
The position to be filled is a:
- Band B2 Finance and Office Manager
Candidates will be expected to have:
- a sound knowledge of finance and budget management processes;
- outstanding organisational skills;
- first rate IT (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills; and
- excellent communication skills
Our salary range is from £26,721 to £34,621.
The standard salary on first appointment is usually the band minimum. Only in execeptional cases will successful candidates be offered a higher starting salary and rarely to the maximum.
