This procurement policy note (PPN) is to remind departments of their legal obligations under the Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED), when conducting their public procurement activities. Departments should be aware that this is not a comprehensive guide to the PSED, but a summary of how the duty can be taken into account when conducting public procurement.
