Details

The Behavioural Insights Team’s Annual Update has been published today. The Annual Update provides a summary of the Team’s work since it was set up in July 2010.

Alongside the Team’s Annual Update, the Cabinet Office is publishing the Government Response to the Science and Technology Select Committee Report on Behaviour Change. The Government’s response welcomes the Committee’s report and respond to their specific conclusions and recommendations.

The Behavioural Insights Team’s Annual Update for 2011/12 is available to download.

The Annual Update sets out the work of the team across a range of different areas - from fraud, energy efficiency and welfare, to charitable giving and the ‘midata’ programme. The Update also explains that the team successfully passed its two year ‘Sunset Review’ and can now be commissioned by external organisations, where there is an underlying social purpose to the work.
