Cabinet Office Disability Equality Scheme
The Cabinet Office Disability Equality Scheme has been replaced by a single
equality scheme promoting disability, race and gender equality. The Cabinet
Office has extended the principles of the equality duties to age, gender
identity, religion / belief, and sexual orientation, and makes mention of
these additional equality strands in the Scheme.
Previous scheme
The Cabinet Office has a public duty as a government department under
disability equality legislation to ensure that we give consideration to
everyone's needs so that we promote and deliver disability equality in
all that we do – recruitment, selection, policy development, and services.
This document outlines the Cabinet Office's Disability Equality Scheme.
We can also provide copies of our Disability Equality Scheme in other
