The recommended core training for the Government Practitioner and Accreditor certificates is provided by the National School of Government and CESG.
ITPC recommends Government Practitioners to follow the core training routes to Certification. However, recognising that some practitioners may have Target Competencies relating to activities such as BS7799 Compliance, implementing Business Continuity plans, addressing Data Protection and other legislation, and similar objectives, the Scheme is pleased to accredit a range of private sector training on these subjects for the Practitioner Level of its Government Practitioner Certificate syllabus. These courses typically offer discounted fees for registered ITPC Certificate Candidates.
All ITPC core and accredited training courses provide CPE credits for holders of the CISSP qualification.
