New guidance in progress
Although not yet issued, website managers are recommended to note the
following guidance and plan implementation accordingly.
In force
The following sections of the Guidelines for UK Government Websites remain
in force. While much has changed since these documents were originally
written in 2002, including updated versions of software and coding
standards, the broad principles they espouse remain valid.
No longer in force
The following sections of the Guidelines for UK Government Websites are no
longer in force. They are kept here for archive and/or historical interest
only and should not be treated as current statements of policy.
