Who Should Attend
For Category 1 Responders who are responsible for developing a recovery capability. They are typically involved with the management and planning of service delivery in education, social services, housing, infrastructure, environment emergency planning, voluntary organisations, and crisis support teams. Others may attend e.g. Category 2 responders and voluntary organisations if they are involved in managing and planning service delivery around community recovery issues.
Please note – this course is NOT intended to provide operational training.
Aim
To enable organisations to prepare, plan and activate the recovery phase of an emergency.

Pre-Requisites
If delegates have not previously attended Introduction to Civil Protection (ICP), the ICP pre-course reading should be completed.
Further specialist events e.g. Emergency Assistance Centres and Emergency Evacuation and Shelter courses.
