What is Baseline Industry Engagement?

The objective of Baseline Industry Engagement is to increase the supply of IA solutions to give HMG departments a wider choice of Baseline secure ICT. Baseline means a solution that can be used to protect information which, for example, could be a risk to an individual's personal safety or liberty.

Why is Baseline Industry Engagement happening?

HMG departments need a wider choice of Baseline IA Solutions as part of their strategic ICT planning and the Baseline Industry Engagement project is working to give:

• Greater choice of Baseline solutions for HMG
• Increased market for Baseline suppliers
