CIPCOG events
CIPCOG have been running events on a regular basis since September 2004.
CIPCOG Conference
The CIPCOG Conference will take place at York Racecourse on 27-28 February
2008.
The CIPCOG Information Assurance Conference is being jointly hosted by the
Central Sponsor for Information Assurance in the Cabinet Office, and the
Ministry of Defence. If you have attended the DIPCOG conferences or CIPCOG
events, then you should consider attending this 2 day CIPCOG Conference.
This event is aimed at anyone working in Information Assurance or
Information Security. This includes, management, auditing, technical and
procurement from across the whole pan-Government organisation including,
Central Government/Agencies, MoD, Local Authorities, Health Service,
Justice and Academia. The theme for this event is “Delivering
Information Assurance in a changing World” and includes policy
updates from CSIA, MoD and CESG, presentations on shared services and
off-shoring, and presentations from Security Product Vendors.
Throughout the mornings of the conference there will also be the
opportunity for delegates to meet with a member of CSIA, MOD and/or CESG to
ask any questions they may have which they prefer to discuss with the
representatives privately.
