The 'Tell Us How' programme was launched in October 2011.
Tell Us How is based on the idea that the people working hard to deliver public services every day can provide valuable insights into ways of improving productivity and efficiency, and ultimately making services better for everyone.
The Tell Us How programme provides the opportunity for those working in public services to have their ideas heard and considered at the very centre of Government – and helps realise new ways to improve services and ways of working.
Tell Us How launched its second challenge – Civil Service Engagement – on 29 March 2012.
The Minister for the Cabinet Office, Francis Maude, and the Head of the Civil Service, Sir Bob Kerslake, have invited all civil servants to put forward their suggestions which will inform the Civil Service reform plan which will be published later this year.
