A not for profit limited by guarantee company, EMQC Ltd operates as an approved regional Investors in People Quality Centre and provides services on a national basis covering Work Life Balance, ISO, Lexel and Charter Mark assessments.

Managing Director of the Derby-based company, Rosie Duncan said:

‘We have a team of experienced Charter Mark assessors located throughout the UK and they each have extensive experience in handling both individual assessments alongside corporate development programmes.’

The team has already undertaken over 1,000 Charter Mark assessments with experience in all sectors including Government departments, local authorities, hospitals, schools, colleges, the emergency services, housing associations, voluntary organisations, and GP and dental practices.

Rosie added:‘Our aim is to provide a well-balanced and complementatry portfolio of services, all geared towards helping businesses and other organisations to improve their performance through the continuous development of their people and processes.

‘We provide a rigorous customer focused approach with the flexibility to manage the assessment process to meet the needs of the organisation.

‘By drawing on their wide experience, our assessors can make suggestions for improvement and, because of the range of our services, we can offer organisations the opportunity to be assessed in conjunction with other quality schemes - providing much-needed economies of scale.

‘By performing joint assessments for complementary standards – where appropriate - EMQC Ltd can make the whole process more efficient and effective for the customer and many have already benefited by taking this approach.’

She explained: ‘Standards including such as Charter Mark are not just the preserve of larger institutions – they are just as relevant for small and medium sized organisations and at EMQC Ltd, we are committed to delivering assessments that are affordable, non-intrusive and user-friendly.
